April 27, 2020

The Premier, Mark McGowan on Sunday, April 26 announced changes to the rules regarding Prohibited Gatherings and Prohibited Activities, effectively lifting the restrictions on the number of people allowed at Gatherings in certain circumstances.

The new Closure and Restriction (Limit the Spread) No 2 documentation clearly states in Clause 14 (h) that golf is an exception to a Prohibited Activity if no more than 10 people participate in the activity and therefore as from Monday, April 27, golf can now be played in 3’s or 4’s (or up to 10 if you wanted to play, for example, an ambrose or foursomes in sixes). For clarification, this change does not mean that the maximum number of people allowed on a golf course at any one time is 10.
