Professional Lessons

My name is Nigel Durkin and I have been proudly coaching Harvey Golf Club members throughout 2020.

I originally joined the PGA in 2000 when I started my traineeship at Gosnells Golf Club. Once I completed my traineeship I went on tour and played for 4 years throughout Australia and the South Pacific. My claims to fame have included; winning 10 pro ams, playing in the Australian PGA Championship in 2005 & 2006 and winning the WA Order of Merit in 2005.

After I finished playing on tour, I took a bit of a sabbatical from golf but it wasn’t long before the lure of the game dragged me back in.

These days I focus my efforts on coaching and provide 1 on 1 lessons both on the range and on course. I also specialise in small group classes (6 Max) which are especially valuable to new golfers who want to learn the right thing from the start.

With the support of Harvey Golf Club I will be available to all members for lessons and support and plan on making myself available at least 1 day a fortnight year round.
