HOW TO FIND US:

The Harvey Golf Course is located between the towns of Harvey and Myalup,  approximately 10 km from the Coast.   It is an 18 hole grass course with some of the best greens to be found anywhere in the region.   Being 10km off the coast there is minimal development in its immediate area with only one par 4 running parallel to a minor road.   Players often comment that although there are 100 or more players on course,  it is quite possible to imagine that you and your playing partners are the only people out there.

The Harvey Golf Course is inhabited by several large families of Emu,  and is home to many varieties of native fauna including large Goanna's that often stop to observe a players swing and style.  The course is a regular stopping place for large flocks of the rare blacktailed and white tailed Cockatoo's, and when flocks of two and three hundred of these birds are overhead all play stops as people are unable to do anything but admire these raucous galleries of native wildlife.

The course is just under 6 thousand metres long and is considered a 'tight' course.  Accuracy is the name of the game here,  with only the brave and the foolhardy using the driver more than 5 or 6 times a round.

Greens are smallish and need for an accurate approach shot is obvious but a good chipping and putting game will keep you in the scoring.

There are no water hazards and only 11 bunkers so there are few unseen hazards for the first timer here and judicious play will bring immediate reward.
