The Harvey Golf Club holds a number of special events each year which are open to all golfers with AGU handicaps, and even one or two for those without. This page will hold regular updates of these events and provide PDF format nomination forms for you to download. Read the forms carefully and forward them as soon as possible. Most events have limited field sizes and are often fully subscribed well before the cut-off dates!

Friday 14th, Saturday 15th, Sunday 16th November 2008
'The Harvey Open' is held during November each year. A three day event, competition starts with the Friday 'welcoming' event, a 4BBB mixed stableford comp that allows players to tune up their golf and take the best possible look at the course.
The main event is held over the Saturday and Sunday with the winners being determined by a combined stableford score over the two days. Whilst the goal of this event is undoubtably to be declared the "Harvey Open Champion", players compete for prizes in a variety of categories on every day of competition.
Nomination forms provide details of meals and costs, with accommodation services included. The 'Harvey Open' is a well established event with more than 160 players attending in 2007.

The Harvey Golf Club is extremely pleased to announce the continued involvment of Golf DownUnder-Mandurah as the major sponsor of this years event.
Golf Downunder has been the Open Event sponsor, ( sat, sun ) since its inception in 2000. It is fantastic to be able to maintain this relationship over such a long period. It is perhaps not always understood that the most important element in taking an idea, to a well recognised and supported Open Event, is the continued support of major sponsors. Ben Sweeney and Golf DownUnder Mandurah have filled this role for the Harvey Open from the very first and are held in high regard by all at the Harvey Golf Club.

Saturday and Sunday are the 'Open'. The Open event winner will be the golfer that returns the best stableford score from 36 holes over the two days. Maximum handicaps are 36-men, and 45-women. Friday is the Welcoming Day for the Harvey open and HGC is very happy to have a new sponsor on board for this years event. Although this will be the first year that Digby Shepherd and EVERYONES REALTY headline our Friday event, Digby and EVERYONES REALTY are important supporters of the Harvey Golf Club and are also the lead sponsors for the Pro-Am held at Harvey every May.
